Now Live: National Survey of Mobile Crisis, Co-Responder, and Alternative Response Programs

Thursday, December 18, 2025

States can encourage their Mobile Crisis Teams to participate in the National Survey of Mobile Crisis Programs, open from December 1 to January 31. This is an exciting opportunity to build the evidence base for mobile crisis programs across the country. Respond now to ensure your program is represented in the updated national landscape.

Who should participate?

  • Behavioral health provider mobile crisis programs
  • Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS)
  • Law enforcement-based co-responder programs
  • Alternative or community responder programs

The survey is being fielded by a team of researchers at Columbia University (Drs. Leah Pope and Michael Compton) and Wayne State University (Dr. Amy Watson), in collaboration with Dr. Matthew Goldman and Preston Looper. Programs may sign up to participate here.
